Waycross College

Waycross College, a two-year unit of the University System of Georgia, provides the Okefenokee area with quality programs of higher education. Flexible class scheduling and an academic support center assist the diverse enrollees in making the most of educational opportunities. Waycross College students perform extremely well on the Regents’ Test and have a high success upon transferring to baccalaureate institutions. Joint enrollment programs with Ware County High School provides local high school students the opportunity to earn college credits on the high school campus. The college serves as a resource for intellectual, social, physical, and cultural development.
