OKEFENOKEE TECHNICAL INSTITUTE

Okefenokee Technical Institute, located in Waycross, Georgia, is a division of the Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education and is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Council on Occupational Education.

Since opening its doors in 1965, the school has served thousands of citizens in Southeast Georgia. Okefenokee Technical Institute, a unit of the Department of Technical and Adult Education, offers post-secondary programs, an onsite child care center, and 13 credit certificate programs, 18 health, business and technical diploma programs. The school’s Business and Industry Division offers custom-designed training for business and industry as well as Quick Start training and mechanical maintenance assessments.

The school's primary service area includes Atkinson, Bacon, Brantley, Charlton, Clinch, Pierce and Ware Counties. OTI employs 65 full-time and approximately 100 part-time faculty and staff.
