Ware and Pierce Counties are approximately one hour from the Jacksonville International Airport, which has over 200 jet departures daily. In 2007 more than 6.3 million passengers used Jacksonville International Airport. The Jacksonville International Airport is served by more than a dozen major carriers and a network of regional carriers. The Jacksonville International Airport has a full service terminal building and outstanding ground transportation. It is a medium HUB and encompasses 8000 acres. The airport is close in proximity to I-95, I-295 and US1.

The Waycross Ware County Airport, situated on 1040 acres, has three runways, one of which is 6,000 feet in length and is located adjacent to the Waycross-Ware County Industrial Park. Several improvements have recently been completed including an ILS (Instrument Landing System) installation, a total upgrade of approach lighting, and a beautiful airport terminal building. The Waycross-Ware County Airport ranks among the best in mid-size airports and is one of the best equipped to accomodate most any corporate and transit traffic, incoming and outgoing.
