The Ware County School of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences continuously brings state recognition to our school system and the Okefenokee Area. At the elementary level, students yearly win awards in the district science fair, the International Association’s Reader of the Year contest, the Georgia Youth and Technology Center’s Science Olympiad, and the Georgia Academy of General Dentistry Poster Contest. The Ware County School of Agriculture, Forestry, and Environmental Science, known locally as the Magnet School, is extremely proud of all its students’ achievements and the innovative techniques they use to educate our youngsters. The Magnet School includes classes in general study as well as an outdoor classroom, a fish farm, and numerous greenhouses where students not only study plant life in books, but actually place the seeds in the ground and help nurture their growth. The Magnet School is an exciting addition to the Ware County School System.
