WARE COUNTY HIGH

700 Victory Drive
Waycross, GA 31503

Dr. Robert Bussey, Prinicipal

The citizens of Ware County are extremely proud of the facilities at our new high school. Local students enjoy the benefits of being in a new facility with all the latest technologies. The Ware County Anchor Club is positive proof that students are taking advantage of all their high school has to offer. The club picked up the school’s first national award when it received the National Honor Club Award. In addition the J.R.O.T.C. Rifle Team won the Georgia State High School Association Riflery Division Championship by successfully defeating the final 14 regional teams from the state of Georgia. One student won a silver medal for the second place High Individual Score. Six students were named to All-State Chorus, and one student was chosen for All-State Band. During the Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta, the high school was the training site for the Lithuanian Athletes and hosted a Lithuanian exchange student for part of the year.

It’s easy to see the positive results a professional faculty and supportive parents can have on a community of youngsters.
